After a comprehensive interview and physical examination and review of diagnostic tests, we may offer one or more of the following interventions:

Pharmacologic treatment:
We may prescribe opioids (narcotics) for pain management although we are aware of the potential for addiction in many patients. Although these medications may be necessary for some patients, we strive to find more successful alternatives to treat pain (as outlined above). Our primary efforts will focus on returning patients to a productive and enjoyable lifestyle and eventually transfer their care to their primary caregiver.
