Regain Strength And Flexibility
Pulmonary rehabilitation at CHI St. Alexius Health provides education to help heart patients increase their physical fitness, reduce lung disease symptoms, improve their health and reduce the risk of future lung problems.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a professionally-supervised program that helps patients recover from Chronic Lung Disease (COPD). Our services include structured exercise and education programs designed to make your recovery much easier and to provide you with a base for future independent exercise.
We'll help you regain strength and flexibility you may have lost and we'll teach you how to change your lifestyle to avoid future lung problems. You'll leave our care feeling more positive about yourself, your future, and your lifestyle. After a qualifying event, a referral is needed from a physician to begin and most insurance covers the program.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation can effectively help:
- Improve your quality of life
