Treating Speech Challenges
Speech-language pathologists (also known as speech therapists) at CHI St. Alexius Health assess and treat communication and/or swallowing difficulties in children and adults. Our therapists evaluate patients for expressing and receptive language disorders, stuttering, dysarthria, cognitive linguistic disorders, articulations, swallowing and feeding skills and voice.
In addition to providing inpatient and outpatient speech therapy services, we also make home healthcare visits, provide speech therapy to the Northland PACE program and provide services to outlying areas via Telemedicine.
