Behavioral Health at CHI St. Alexius Health focuses on healing the whole person – body, mind, and spirit.
Your emotional and mental health is just as important as your physical health. We offer different levels of care for every patient’s needs because we understand the delicate issues involved with mental and behavioral health.
Our comprehensive team of licensed psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, clinical social workers, counselors, psychiatric nurses and nurse practitioners are here to help you deal with stress, addiction, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and other issues with compassionate care.
CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck has an adult and adolescent in-patient unit. We provide psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing psychiatric, behavioral or social problems.
We provide the following services:

- Individual and group therapy
- Recreational activities
- Marital or family therapy
Assessment and therapy provided:

- Suicidal thoughts

- Chemical dependency detoxification
Admission to the unit must be made by physicians on staff at CHI St. Alexius Health.
